Frequently Asked Questions

For most adults, a check-up is recommended every six to twelve months, but the exact interval depends on the condition of your teeth and gums, your risk of tooth decay, and your habits.

Many changes, such as early tooth decay or gum inflammation, do not hurt at first. Regular check-ups allow them to be detected and resolved before they become a bigger problem.

Examination of teeth, gums, and soft tissues, caries risk assessment, and, if necessary, a diagnostic X-ray. Based on the findings, we agree on the next steps.

During the check-up, we assess the condition of the teeth and gums, while dental hygiene removes plaque and stains. They are often recommended together as part of regular care.

The frequency is determined individually, depending on the accumulation of deposits, gum condition, and oral habits. For some patients, once a year is enough, while for others, it is more frequent.

The image is taken when it is necessary to evaluate structures that cannot be seen with a standard examination, for example between teeth, in the bone, or around the root. We decide on the need based on the findings.

The foundation is regular and proper tooth brushing, cleaning of interdental spaces, a balanced diet, and regular check-ups and professional hygiene.
